Hello, my loves! How are you doing? If you were wondering – I am doing quite well! I am so glad it is finally July because last month was something else. I love the feeling of a fresh start with a new month, yet here I am sharing a collaboration that I did last month wearing some well-loved clothes. How ironic of me. Hehe.
I had the privilege of collaborating with Anna V. again, and as always, she killed it. We explored midtown in Sacramento, CA for this photo shoot with emphasis on street/casual style. From R to K street, Sacramento is seriously so photogenic.
Street/causal style is def my weakest point as a fashion blogger, but I love a good challenge. When prompted with this theme, I rampaged through my closet for a good day, and nada. It was not until 5 minutes before I headed out to my photo shoot that I decided on this get up. I must thank Minimal Streetstyle for major inspo.
For this monochromatic look, I started with a black laced Aerie’s bralette that I got from the flea market for $1 (which was brand spanking new!). Next, I paired it with a classic white Banana Republic button up. For bottoms, I wore a grey pleated skirt from H&M that I got for $10. I love how flowy it is, which makes one’s silhouette extra flattering. As for accessories, I wore the following: black strappy heels from Dailylook for $15, silver triangle earrings from Threadscence for less than $5, and vintage black Dooney & Bourke bag from a garage sale for $2.
